MILWAUKEE, Wis. — KC Streich today announced the public launch of AI for Wisconsin, an independent civic write-in campaign for Governor of Wisconsin built around open, accountable, and empowering AI-assisted governance.

Following a private development and campaign-design phase, the campaign is making its public goals, governance model, operating principles, and current project direction available at ai-for-wi.com. The site explains how residents can follow the campaign, submit public input, inspect its public reasoning, and register for future announcements.

“Power should be transparent to the people; people should not be made transparent to power,” said KC Streich. “I'm running to make Wisconsin government easier to inspect, easier to challenge, and harder to hide behind. AI can help people follow the evidence and shape public priorities—but voters remain in charge, and a human governor remains accountable.”

Across Wisconsin, residents are questioning closed-door data-center deals, rising resource demands, and surveillance systems such as Flock cameras. Those concerns cross party lines, but conventional politics treats them as separate controversies. AI for Wisconsin connects them through one principle: new technology must answer to the people who live with its consequences.

Wisconsinites should not have to choose between innovation and their rights—or piece together a complete technology policy from fragments of two party platforms.

AI for Wisconsin uses AI for public reasoning, source review, and decision support—not as a replacement for democratic responsibility. Residents can contribute questions, sources, local concerns, and criticism. AI can help compare options, draft explanations, and surface gaps; KC Streich remains the human candidate responsible for campaign positions and decisions.
