Hard Questions
We don't dodge the tough stuff. Here is exactly how we handle privacy, bias, and control.
Is the AI actually making decisions?
No. The AI processes data and proposes policy options. The final decision is always made by elected human officials and validated by citizen vote for major issues. It is a tool for intelligence, not a replacement for sovereignty.
What about data privacy?
We use a federated learning model. Your personal data stays on your device or in secure, local encrypted enclaves. The central model only learns from aggregated, anonymized patterns. We never sell data.
Who codes the AI?
The codebase is open source. Anyone can audit it. We have a bipartisan oversight committee of computer scientists and ethicists who approve all merges to the core logic branch.
What if the AI is biased?
All models have bias. We mitigate this by training on transparent, public datasets and using 'Constitutional AI' techniques where the model is explicitly constrained by the Wisconsin State Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Is this legal?
Yes. The Governor is a human being who uses this software as their primary advisor. The 'AI Governor' is the platform, but the legal entity is the human candidate pledged to follow its guidance.
How much does it cost?
A fraction of a traditional administration. By automating bureaucracy, we estimate we can reduce the state's administrative budget by 20% in the first term, returning that money to taxpayers.
